Stress, that is not balanced with appropriate amounts of rest and recovery, can negatively effect your blood pressure, your weight, blood sugar control and many other parts of your health. Trying to identify and reduce stress while learning and developing rest and recovery mechanisms can be a very effective strategy in controlling stress and minimizing its negative impact on our health.
