Stress is a part of life. Eliminating stress should not even be a goal as stress, properly used, makes us stronger. A great example of stress being useful to us is exercise. The important message provided in these courses regarding stress, is stress can be devastating to our health if it is not balanced with appropriate rest and recovery. Stress, that is not balanced with appropriate amounts of rest and recovery, can negatively effect your blood pressure, your weight, blood sugar control and many other parts of your health. Trying to identify and reduce stress while learning and developing rest and recovery mechanisms can be a very effective strategy in controlling stress and minimizing its negative impact on our health.

These courses are designed to help you understand stress and the importance of maintaining a healthy stress-recovery balance. You will also learn that we now have tools that can identify whether or not you may be suffering from an unhealthy stress-recovery balance. Diet and lifestyle modifications can help restore the bodies ability to recover fully which will limit the negative impact stress can have on our health.
